A.K. VIDYAMANDIR Value system revolves around truth, tolerance, intellect, purity & commitment.

Truth (Satya): People need the truth about the world in order to thrive. Truth is important. Believing what is not true is apt to spoil a person’s plans and may even cost him his life.

Keeping tolerance (driti): The heart of tolerance is self-control. When we tolerate an activity, we resist our urge to forcefully prohibit the expression of activities that we find unpleasant.

Intellect (dhi): Intellect is a term used in studies of the human mind, and refers to the ability of the mind to come to correct conclusions about what is true or real, and about how to solve problems.

Purity (saucha): Purity is the absence of impurity or contaminants in a substance. This term also applies to the absence of vice in human character.

Commitment: Commitment mean many things: a promise to keep, a sense of dedication that transcends all other considerations, an unswerving allegiance to a given point of view.

These values provide basis for maintaining and promoting life at the individual and the social levels.
